Architect: Greene Partners LLC, Lopez Island
General Contractor: Schuchart\Dow
This project came together through the combined efforts of the architect, the general contractor, the owner, and Anderson Masonry.
Designed to provide a graceful bridge between the natural elements surrounding the home and manmade features, the stone work is an essential element in the home's design.
The material we used is a combination of two different types of Montana ledge stone for the veneer, and Pennsylvania Blue stone for the patios.
Architectural elements included:
- Rumford firebox and stone fireplace surround with pre-cast elements
- Pre-cast window sills and wainscot cap
- Stone chimney
- Stone wainscot
- Stone patios and walks

The stone veneer integrates the home with its natural surroundings
